At ANDI, I represented the private sector in Risaralda and the surrounding region, working with mayors, governors and security forces on public order and the business environment. During the 2021 national strike, I served on the negotiating team alongside local government; Pereira became the first city in Colombia to sign a closing agreement.
I also organized business convoys during the 2016 trucking strike, coordinating with the Army and Police to keep goods moving along national highways. At ANDI, I grew chapter revenue by 30% and increased committee participation by 22%.
At Atesa de Occidente S.A. E.S.P., I held full P&L and general management responsibility for the company and three operations, with 800+ employees. I managed the concession contract with the Municipality of Pereira and regulatory relations, while maintaining performance indicators for compliance, billing collection and customer claims.
Earlier, at Pereira Chamber of Commerce, I acted as a direct liaison with government offices and Ministries on business and city development programs, securing over COP 2 billion in public funding. I hold an MBA from IE Business School and have taught International Negotiation and Entrepreneurship as an adjunct professor.
