Laureen Muchiri

I’m a passionate networking and IT support professional focused on troubleshooting, designing, securing, and maintaining robust IT infrastructures. I thrive in dynamic environments where problem-solving, innovation, and collaboration directly improve system performance, reliability, and security.

In my current role as a Liquid Intelligent Technologies NOC Engineer, I monitor networks using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, OMS, and ECI. I diagnose and resolve Layer 1–3 network issues, including fiber cuts, link failures, and routing problems—facilitating seamless communication and real-time updates with field engineers to reduce network downtime and speed up escalation.

Alongside NOC work, I’ve delivered first-line IT support and helped maintain critical business systems, including supporting the administration and daily operation of the Syspro ERP system. I’ve also gained exposure in enterprise and high-security environments while supporting WAN and ICT operations, and I supported end-user infrastructure at the University of Eastern Africa, Baraton while mentoring practicum students in real-world IT support.
