What I'm looking for

Remote work where my educational psychology, evaluation, and teaching background makes a real difference, from improving AI models to designing learning and using evidence to drive improvement. I’m an educational psychologist (PhD) with 20+ years in education, research, and evaluation across the US, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. My work sits where learning science, data, and quality judgment meet.

At Mercor, I evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reasoning, consistency, and adherence to defined criteria, identifying reasoning errors and writing evidence-based justifications for each rating.

As a Lead Evaluator for Cognia (2021–2026), I led external accreditation reviews of schools and school systems, synthesizing documents, stakeholder interviews, and performance data into findings and recommendations for leadership. Earlier, I spent more than a decade coaching teachers, leading professional development, and building data systems like NWEA MAP in international schools. I also designed and taught 22+ online professional learning courses for educators worldwide.

Today I also run NextWave Science, where I design NGSS-aligned curriculum, assessments, and teacher resources.

I’m looking for remote roles in AI evaluation and training, instructional design, curriculum and assessment development, program evaluation (M&E), and education research. I’m a US citizen based in Quito, Ecuador, available for full-time, part-time, or contract work during US business hours.
