At Whidbey Health Women's Care, I welcome patients, help with intake and patient portal navigation, and maintain clinic schedules. I use Meditech and Microsoft applications to register patients and support their visits.
I verify insurance eligibility, confirm authorizations, and collect payments during registration. I also use medical terminology and ICD-10 classifications for billing and insurance authorization purposes.
At Summit Pacific Medical Center, I conducted patient registration interviews, verified insurance coverage and benefits, and checked referrals and pre-authorizations. I used EPIC to enter workers' compensation and motor vehicle claims paperwork.
Earlier, I worked as a 911 Operator / Fire/Medical Dispatcher at Lifecom and as an Office Manager at American Custom Cabinets. My training includes Emergency Medical Technician, Firefighter-I, Firefighter - Wildland, and advanced emergency fire and medical dispatch.
