Kriss Quine

I’m an IT professional with a background in system administration, data analytics, and IT operations, supported by a B.A. in Information Technology from Kenyatta University. I bring hands-on experience supporting enterprise environments—managing users, maintaining uptime, and translating operational data into actionable insight.

At the Parliament of Kenya, I administered and supported Windows and Linux systems for 150+ users, keeping service disruptions to a minimum. I managed user accounts, permissions, and access policies via Active Directory and Microsoft 365, handled troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and produced system logs, operational reports, and trend analyses for capacity planning.

I’ve also deepened my data science skills through formal training in machine learning, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and blockchain for business analytics. I enjoy bridging the gap between infrastructure and data, applying the same methodical approach whether I’m hardening a network or building a Python-based workflow for analysis and reporting.

In addition, I’ve worked as a part-time Data Science Instructor at Zetech University, delivering practical sessions on data analysis, Python programming, and visualization tools. I’m motivated by clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders—turning findings into decisions they can act on.
