I’m a native Nepali interpreter and translator based in the UK for over two decades. I was born and raised in Nepal and built a strong foundation in Nepali culture, with excellent command of both English and Nepali.
Since April 2014, I’ve worked as a freelance interpreter and translator, completing over 5000 hours of interpreting between English and Nepali. My interpreting experience spans courts, tribunals, prisons, probation, police, asylum services, national health services, and local government, including both face-to-face and remote interpreting.
I also complete translation and related language work in English <> Nepali, with over 500 projects and more than one million words across legal, health, finance, and media. I maintain professional confidentiality, quality, and punctuality—rendering messages accurately without adding, omitting, or substituting—while continuously keeping my language skills current through regular contact with Nepal and the Nepali community in the UK.
