I’m a Patient Accounts Coordinator focused on accurate, timely revenue-cycle support—collecting and verifying patient demographic information and managing the insurance pre-processing workflow through Epic.

At Boston Children’s Hospital Physicians Organization, I verify insurance eligibility using payer websites and phone contact with third-party payers, ensuring the correct insurance company details, plan information, and filing order are recorded in the patient accounting system.

I prepare and submit accurate insurance claims within proper timeframes, reconcile claim runs daily, and resolve outstanding issues by working payer scrubber and denial reports, updating coverage/PCP details, and documenting every action with clear account notes.

I also collaborate with referral/authorization staff to secure referrals, handle payer exception items, and support third-party payer appeals and account adjustments in line with payer contractual agreements—monitoring trends in denials and claim errors to prevent repeat issues.
