@kevinarmengol
Detail-oriented Data Scientist bridging AI, creative thinking & cross-disciplinary ideas.
What I'm looking for
My background spans a diverse range: clinical documentation, academic neuroscience and molecular biology research, large-scale biomedical data initiatives, and experimental AI research. My recent work has focused heavily on generative AI, LLMs, and agentic systems—developing and curating datasets, designing novel methodologies by combining diverse analytical approaches, and uncovering meaningful patterns in complex data.
I thrive on obsessive attention to detail, enjoy getting into the weeds to uncover underlying patterns, and love tackling problems with creative, cross-disciplinary solutions. I’m always looking for clever ways to bridge ideas, tools, and concepts—sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t, but you miss all the shots you don’t take. Above all, I adapt easily, work well across teams, and bring a mix of technical depth and big-picture thinking to whatever I do.
Currently, I’m interested in opportunities that leverage generative AI and agent-based systems to build practical, scalable tools and workflows that support complex applications.
Outside of my technical work, I’m also a passionate musician and am especially interested in creative applications at the intersection of AI and music—particularly for enabling new forms of musical expression, composition, and exploration.
