At Georgetown University, I develop mechanistic models to predict the genomic consequences of evolution in a critical management species. I also use supervised machine learning to connect model parameters with empirical genetic data for causal inference.
I use Google Cloud SDK, Bash, and Slurm HPC for quantitative analyses and genome assembly, and manage complex databases that can exceed 500 GB. I’ve also devised research strategies and won and managed grant funding to support scientific projects published in major journals.
Previously, I developed forecast models and used circuit theory models at Georgetown University, then developed empirical and physics-based models of fire behavior at Ohio State University. At Sherwin Williams, I managed projects and databases to certify production lines.
