Kenyonna Staples
@kenyonnastaples
Computer Science graduate focused on entry-level software and IT support, delivering reliable, user-first troubleshooting.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Computer Science graduate with practical experience in JavaScript, Python, C/C++, and MySQL, and I enjoy turning requirements into working solutions. I’ve built engaging applications, including a point-and-click game in Game Maker Studio (GML) using event-driven programming and milestone planning.
In my Monmouth College AV Tech Crew role, I set up and tested audio-visual equipment for on-campus events using Windows-based control consoles. I proactively identified and resolved technical issues, coordinated with event organizers and teammates, and adjusted setups on the fly to avoid disruptions, while performing routine checks and maintenance using Windows diagnostic tools.
I also bring a strong customer-facing and problem-solving mindset from my Cashier/Customer Service experience at Michaels and Chuck E. Cheese. I focused on clear communication, accurate POS transactions, and fast issue resolution—skills I’m ready to apply in an entry-level software or IT support position where I can contribute quickly and keep growing through continuous skill development.
