Kelley Carr
@kelleycarr
Instructional leader and principal dedicated to data-driven PLCs and student-centered growth.
What I'm looking for
I’m a principal with a strong instructional leadership background and a clear purpose: to contribute to the growth of students. I lead with a Passionate, Collaborative, Student Driven, Team Player mindset that helps create a positive learning environment for all.
From 2012 to 2022, I collaborated with stakeholders to strengthen campus culture and drive instructional improvement. I led using PLCs for effective tier one instruction—analyzing data, giving specific feedback, and creating action plans—while aligning professional development with the campus improvement plan.
Earlier, as an Assistant Principal/Teacher (2003–2012), I built strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. I supported emergency planning with the Campus Leadership Team and created a positive behavior plan centered on student accountability and positive changes; as a Teacher (1994–2003), I built a collaborative, high-expectations math department and designed engaging lessons that integrate high-level thinking skills to challenge all learners.
