Assists the team lead with scheduling, training and team meeting planning, and case management support to advance clients’ housing goals. Oversees and manages operations of the Friendly Place Resource Center, builds community partnerships, recruits faith-based organizations and volunteers, and ensures timely outreach response and contract data capture.

Serves as the first point of contact for participants and community members during outreach and in-reach at the Friendly Place. Monitors participants primarily housed at shelter locations by conducting daily unit and bed checks, ensuring residents follow shelter rules, and maintaining clean living areas. Completes DAPs and incident reports, assists residents with paperwork, and temporarily supports outreach referrals and pre-intake/intake documentation processes.

Checked customers in upon return, evaluated vehicles for damage at pick-up and return, and processed rental charges and payment changes. Completed damage/loss reports and handled claims-related documentation while ensuring customers were satisfied with services.

Managed operations of military facilities and personnel in support of active missions on and off base.

Performed law enforcement, crime prevention, investigative, and specialized duties under a senior officer’s supervision, including traffic enforcement and assisting investigations. Conducted arrests and interviews, rendered first aid as required, served warrants and subpoenas, prepared reports, and testified in court.

Provided humanitarian assistance in remote borderland corridors, including food, water, camping gear, and medical support during aid drops. Staffed humanitarian aid camps to assist migrants with registration support for documentation of violence and abuse, missing person/search and rescue assistance, and legal aid while emphasizing harm reduction.

Taught foster children and children of single-parent households about Hawaiian history and culture through mele, hula, storytelling, and other cultural traditions. Facilitated hands-on learning activities to build community and interpersonal skills.
