What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a school setting where I can provide trauma-informed counseling and student groups, partner closely with educators, and expand my school-counseling impact for neurodiverse learners.

I’m a School Counseling Intern focused on supporting students with compassion, structure, and real-world care. I deliver trauma-informed individual counseling, lead counseling groups for neurodivergent high school students, and provide body safety lessons alongside school staff and community partners.

With a strong speech-language background, I advocate for neuro-affirming interventions and collaborate across teams to remove barriers to communication and learning. I’ve implemented IEPs, provided push-in supports, and led early intervention and school-based speech therapy for students ranging from preschool through high school.

I’m grounded in practical execution—scheduling and coordinating services, maintaining progress notes, and completing monthly Medicaid billing. I also bring a student-centered mindset to grief counseling and social-safety education, and I’m currently building deeper school-counseling expertise through my Master’s program.
