@brittanyschroeder
I am an experienced elementary social-emotional interventionist supporting student academic and emotional growth.
What I'm looking for
I am an experienced elementary social and emotional interventionist with Bachelors and Masters Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and additional graduate study in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling. I focus on evidence-based supports for young learners.
At G.F.W Elementary School I developed individualized plans that addressed social, emotional, academic, and behavioral needs throughout the elementary school. I supported student social and emotional development through individual and small group interventions and provided personalized feedback to promote academic and social-emotional growth.
I monitored and maintained accurate records of children’s educational, social, and emotional development and developed and implemented age-appropriate activities that promoted physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development. I also assisted teachers by implementing lesson plans based on student needs and abilities and by providing one-on-one para support and classroom support when needed.
I bring strong communication, conflict resolution, and classroom behavior management skills, and I am self-motivated, attentive to detail, and comfortable working under pressure and in team settings. I am committed to positive guidance, collaborative problem solving, and fostering safe, inclusive learning environments that help students thrive.
