Speech Language Pathologist focused on assessments, therapy planning, and parent-supported development.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Speech Language Pathologist who documents client performance, tracks progress, and delivers targeted sessions across cognitive, language and communication, social-emotional, and play skills. I plan weekly sessions and tailor therapy to each individual’s needs.
In my current role, I assess all areas of developing to determine eligibility of children under the age of three, document assessments, and build development treatment plans. I collaborate with the child’s team and ongoing therapists to ensure the child is progressing towards meeting all milestones.
I’ve also supported school and IEP services by following documented IEP plans developed by the SLP and team, conducting assessments in collaboration with others, and providing intervention appropriate to age and learning needs. I partner with other school professionals and families on planning, decision making, and program implementation.
Earlier experience includes working as a Certified Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, implementing documented treatment plans, and supporting patient goals through daily activities and progress reporting. Through practicum and internship work, I’ve completed direct treatment and evaluations for conditions including aphasia, dysphasia, and cognitive deficits, including in pediatric outpatient and Applied Behavioral Analysis settings.
