Justin Weiland

At Central College, I lead the operational, financial, and strategic functions of an NCAA Division III women's basketball program. I manage recruiting, staffing, budgeting, fundraising, scheduling, travel, compliance, and daily operations.

I've managed an annual operating budget of approximately $20,000 and secured nearly $25,000 through donor, alumni, and community relationships. I also plan annual youth camps from marketing and registration through staffing, logistics, and customer experience.

Across Central College, Grinnell College, Upper Iowa University, Bemidji State University, and Ellsworth College, I've recruited and evaluated thousands of prospective student-athletes. I build systems that strengthen communication, accountability, efficiency, and team performance.

I develop assistant coaches, student staff, and student-athletes through mentoring, performance analysis, individualized improvement plans, and clear organizational expectations. I'm motivated by building strong cultures, solving problems, and delivering results through collaboration and continuous improvement.
