Juan David Hernández

I’m a Computer Science graduate with strong foundations in Java, Python, and database systems, and I’m a Permanent Resident in Canada. I bring a practical mindset built around troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting users in both academic and customer-facing environments.

In my teaching assistant role at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, I supported 50+ students in Java and Data Structures by troubleshooting code and resolving programming issues. I also worked on debugging and algorithm optimization tasks, collaborating with professors to improve lab exercises and technical materials.

On the customer-facing side, I’ve provided personalized service at Kt Supermarket by resolving inquiries and ensuring a satisfactory experience. I also managed cash operations accurately and supported basic inventory management to help keep day-to-day processes efficient and organized.

I’m now focused on entry-level QA, IT Support, or technical analysis work where I can contribute to system reliability and problem resolution. I value clear communication, attention to detail, and disciplined follow-through—especially when it comes to diagnosing issues and supporting users until problems are resolved.
