Nayeli Suarez

I’m a Computer Systems Engineering student (9th semester, ABET-accredited) with 2 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development across academic and professional settings. I’m currently building and migrating a CRM platform in production, and I enjoy turning existing architecture into reliable, evolving systems.

At Proytec, I’m migrating the CRM frontend from Vue to Next.js, analyzing the existing architecture, adapting components, and consuming APIs to support a backend developed in Swift. I also participate in the development and evolution of the backend to ensure system stability and functional consistency.

Before that, I completed a six-month apprenticeship as a Support Analyst at Summit, providing technical support to analysts and collaborating with the IT team to resolve problems efficiently. Earlier, as a Student Assistant at Universidad Icesi, I supported institutional monitoring activities, including data management in Excel and conducting surveys through digital platforms.

I strengthen my engineering mindset through projects like an end-to-end Clinical Diagnosis of Radiological Findings system using Python, scikit-learn, FastAPI, Docker, and NLP, where I deploy the inference pipeline as a REST API. I also worked on ShotPlay (Flutter/Dart with Supabase) and MoveSense (ML movement analysis in Python), and I bring Agile communication, teamwork, and quick-learning habits to every team.
