I’m an experienced Credit Controller and Recoveries Professional with over 10 years of expertise in credit management, debt collection, and accounts receivable. I focus on turning overdue balances into consistent, measurable cash flow while protecting the business against credit risk.

In my current role as a Credit Controller/Recoveries Officer, I manage the end-to-end credit control process to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables. I monitor customer credit limits, assess creditworthiness, negotiate payment arrangements, and resolve invoice queries and account discrepancies.

I produce debtor schedules, collection reports, and client statements for management review, and I reconcile customer statements with company records to maintain financial accuracy. I also collaborate with finance and sales teams to strengthen credit policies and reduce bad debt exposure, supporting recoveries through escalation and legal processes when necessary.

Previously, as a Recoveries Officer at Standard Chartered Bank, I managed delinquent customer accounts and implemented recovery strategies to maximize collections. I handled customer negotiations, account investigations and skip tracing, worked with external agencies and legal partners, and contributed to monthly collection targets.
