In my recent role as a Soft Collections and Recovery Officer at FINCA Bank MDI, I monitored and coordinated recovery activities for both active and written-off loans across assigned branches. I negotiated repayment of bad debts at the lowest cost to the Bank, maintained 100% compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and ensured recoveries were properly booked and reconciled. I also updated the Collections tool daily and managed monthly reporting requirements for the loans under my follow-up.

Previously, as an Account Relationship Officer, I marketed FINCA products and services, grew deposits and the loan portfolio value in Masaka in line with set targets, and prepared detailed loan applications aligned with credit policy. As a Credit Officer at Private Sector Platinum Credit Limited, I collected and reviewed loan applications, performed professional financial analysis and credit reviews, and exceeded sales goals—supported by training such as Certificate of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing Terrorism (AMLCFT), Emotional Intelligence, and Information Security Awareness.
