I’m a bilingual French-English professional, entrepreneur, and mixed-media artist with more than 25 years of experience across arts and culture, communications, and community outreach.
For 27 years, I ran Duranleau Communications, an independent consultancy serving arts and cultural organizations across Canada. My work involved writing, editing, research, public engagement, and working closely with artists, creative teams, and cultural organizations. Throughout my career, my strengths have been clear communication, creative thinking, sound judgment, relationship building, and an ability to adapt easily to different people, audiences, and situations.
I’m also an award-winning self-taught mixed-media artist and the Founder & Creator of Foliée, a nature-inspired creative business bringing together my interests in art, wellness, and handcrafted design.
I’m currently interested in part-time and project-based opportunities where I can put my bilingual skills, creativity, curiosity, people skills, and professional experience to good use. I’m particularly interested in arts and culture, French-language and bilingual projects, content review and evaluation, research, public engagement, community outreach, client services, and other interesting work that values communication, critical thinking, creativity, and a human perspective.
