I’m a senior communications strategist, writer and editor with extensive experience helping organizations communicate clearly, thoughtfully and effectively.

My career has spanned communications strategy, content, brand, digital communications, marketing campaigns, executive communications, issues management and stakeholder engagement. In my current role, I lead national communications for a bilingual professional association, advising the board and senior stakeholders while developing and delivering communications across email, web, social media, print, campaigns and events.

One of my greatest strengths is writing. I’m skilled at quickly understanding unfamiliar or specialized subject matter, identifying what matters most and turning it into clear, compelling content for different audiences. My work has included executive messaging, presenter scripts, news releases, articles, marketing copy, campaign content, organizational communications and digital content. Earlier in my career, I also worked as an editor in financial services, developing experience with specialized financial and investment-related content.

I enjoy both the strategic and hands-on sides of communications. I’ve led a major organizational rebrand, developed successful audience-growth campaigns, advised leaders on sensitive issues and reputation management, managed communications through organizational change and worked with colleagues, subject-matter experts, partners and suppliers to bring projects from idea to execution.

Some of the results I’m particularly proud of include leading an organization’s first major rebrand in 20 years, developing a social media campaign that increased its following by 25% in three weeks and creating an email newsletter that consistently achieved open rates more than 20% above industry benchmarks.

I’m curious by nature and enjoy learning about new organizations, industries and subject matter. I do my best work in roles where I can combine strategic thinking, excellent writing and editorial judgement with collaboration and hands-on execution. I’m particularly interested in senior communications, content, corporate communications, internal communications, brand and integrated communications opportunities where I can help organizations communicate with greater clarity, purpose and impact.
