At Community Action MK, I lead the Growth of Milton Keynes work programme, helping residents shape new developments through workshops, forums, tours, and meetings with developers and strategic partners.

I've created walking tours explaining central Milton Keynes development, connected new-community residents, and kick-started groups that reduce isolation and promote wellbeing. During Covid, I coordinated local voluntary organisations to support children and young people's mental health and shared a detailed support directory with NHS-related services.

Previously, I revitalised the Conniburrow Community Hub, bringing the building into Health & Safety compliance and establishing an active programme for community groups and residents. I managed staff and volunteers, including supporting new team members with little or no work experience.

Across more than 18 years in community development, I've supported high-need families, built partnerships across public, voluntary, and local government services, and helped residents create community-led activities, groups, and solutions. I also deliver safeguarding and community-development training, mentor staff, and work carefully to budgets, targets, and outcomes.
