What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role where I can further develop my crisis intervention skills while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment focused on mental health and wellness.

I am a dedicated crisis intervention specialist with almost 5 years of experience in mental health support and crisis management. My journey has been marked by a commitment to providing real-time clinical support on the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, where I have honed my skills in supervising counselors and conducting risk assessments. I believe in building a supportive, trauma-informed environment for both counselors and callers, especially during high-stress situations where lives are at stake.

In my current role as a 988 Lifeline Team Lead/Shift Supervisor at The Trevor Project, I supervise counselors, ensuring they are equipped to handle high-risk calls involving suicide and abuse. I coordinate emergency interventions and maintain a calm, empathetic presence, which is crucial for both counselor confidence and caller safety. My previous experience as a Crisis Worker at Lenape Valley Foundation further solidified my expertise in crisis intervention, where I collaborated with medical staff and law enforcement to ensure smooth crisis stabilization.
