What I'm looking for

I seek a frontline crisis role where I can deliver empathetic, rapid-response support across text, chat, and voice while serving under-resourced communities and growing clinically.

I am a dedicated crisis counselor with several years of hands-on experience supporting people in acute distress via text-based hotlines and direct behavioral interventions in schools.

Since May 2021 I have worked with Crisis Text Line, using active listening, collaborative problem-solving, safety planning, de-escalation, and CBT techniques to move people from hot moments to calmer states.

I also serve as a Student Success Coach with AmeriCorps City Year, providing daily behavioral interventions and personalized support for a caseload of 18 students and helping them achieve substantially improved exam outcomes.

I bring rapid crisis response skills, a commitment to serving under-resourced communities, cross-cultural relationship-building, and a readiness to learn and contribute immediately to hotline and 988 services.
