What I'm looking for
I’m a Patient Care Assistant with experience providing direct patient support through hourly monitoring, vitals/blood glucose checks, and careful documentation in electronic health record systems.
From 2013–2019 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, I managed daily morning care for 28 patients—supporting oral care, hygiene, bed baths/showers, positioning/lifting and turning, and feeding—while responding to patient call lights and charting in an EMR system.
Since 2019, I’ve supported 9 to 14 patients 3 nights per week, navigating the EPIC hospital system to record vitals, remove IVs, collect urine/stool samples, and report changes in patient condition to the RN. I’ve also supported unit readiness by participating in RAT calls/codes as a vitals-taker and runner.
I bring an adaptable, team-first mindset. In addition to patient care, I orient new PCA’s and unit HUC/receptionist support for inbound/outbound calls, scheduled appointments, transfer calls, and supply/order coordination, while using Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel/Word for documentation and problem escalation.
