@jilllomaz
Lead UX Designer specializing in user-centered design and accessibility.
What I'm looking for
With over 28 years of design and development experience, I have dedicated the last 12 years to specializing in user experience (UX) design. My passion lies in transforming user needs into engaging digital experiences, particularly with a strong focus on accessibility. I have successfully managed user-centered design efforts for various Federal Government and State agencies, ensuring that the digital products we create are not only functional but also inclusive for all users.
Throughout my career, I have led numerous projects that have significantly improved user experiences. For instance, I directed the redesign of the Vital Records certificate systems, enhancing the interface for public use and integrating accessibility features to comply with ADA standards. My collaborative approach has allowed me to work effectively with cross-functional teams, aligning UX strategies with business objectives to boost customer retention and streamline processes.
As a Section 508 Subject Matter Expert, I have been instrumental in advising agencies on integrating accessibility into their development cycles. I am passionate about mentoring aspiring designers, sharing my knowledge and experiences to shape the future of the UX profession. Continuous learning is a priority for me, as I strive to stay updated with the latest UX trends and technologies.
