What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build secure, high-availability payment and financial platforms with distributed remote teams, using cloud-native and event-driven systems.

At Banco de Occidente, I architected a credit card tokenization API for Google Pay and Apple Wallet, reducing fraud incidents by 60% and payment processing time by 40% for more than 50,000 active cardholders. I also contribute to Colombia’s Bre-B instant payment system, enabling real-time interbank transfers.

I build high-availability Java and Spring Boot microservices, event-driven workflows with Apache Kafka and IBM MQ, and reliable CI/CD pipelines. My work spans payment systems, API security, cloud-native platforms, database performance, and automated testing for fintech clients.
