I’m looking to build and scale backend systems for fintech and real-time payments, taking ownership of complex distributed problems, partnering closely with product teams, and improving reliability, architecture, and delivery through modern engineering practices.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience building scalable backend systems, with a strong focus on fintech and real-time payments. I’ve worked on integrating financial platforms, designing microservices, and solving complex distributed systems challenges.

I enjoy moving fast, taking ownership, and working closely with product teams to turn ideas into reliable, high-impact solutions. What motivates me most is building systems that scale, handle real-world complexity, and make a meaningful impact on users.

At Bold Cali, I designed and developed scalable backend services for a payment gateway integrating multiple financial providers, and led the integration of deposit accounts into Colombia’s real-time payment ecosystem for instant transfers. I built high-availability services handling asynchronous communication between financial systems, while contributing to system design decisions to improve performance, scalability, and reliability. Previously, I led backend architecture and delivery as a Technical Lead, and as a Solutions Architect I defined architectural standards and guided teams across distributed systems, deployment pipelines, and maintainable microservices practices.
