I’m looking to keep growing in backend development, taking ownership of secure, scalable systems. I want to lead technical teams and build a path toward managing multidisciplinary projects, especially in cloud-based payment and security domains.

I’m a Software Developer and Computer Science Engineer with over 7 years of experience specializing in backend development. Since the beginning of my career, I’ve focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions.

I’ve built and improved backend systems in areas like e-commerce, digital payments, cybersecurity, and digital signatures. I bring strong requirements analysis, effective problem-solving, and team collaboration to every delivery.

Most recently, at Kiu systems, I’ve been responsible for maintaining and implementing secure backend code using Django and Flask. I also designed and integrated multi-country payment gateway solutions (including Mercado Libre, IATA Pay, and Deuna), ensuring full PCI-DSS compliance and secure coding best practices.

Earlier, at OMNI.PRO Colombia, I joined as the technical lead to redesign the OMS (Order Management System) with a microservices architecture deployed in AWS. I designed and deployed infrastructure with AWS CDK (API Gateway, ECS, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB), reduced backend infrastructure costs by 99%, and helped deliver fast, low-cost push notifications to over 2 million users in under 5 minutes.
