J Fidel Osuna Ramos

I am a physician-scientist and PhD-trained virologist with deep expertise in molecular biology, host-pathogen interactions, and antiviral discovery—especially across respiratory viruses and flaviviruses. I focus on mechanistic reasoning that connects viral infection pathways to actionable antiviral targets.

In my research, I develop computational workflows for CADD and virtual screening, including ligand prioritization, molecular docking, and molecular dynamics. I translate protein-ligand interpretation into clear, reproducible scientific reporting, grounded in experimental and translational evidence.

As a faculty member, I bring an educator’s mindset: I construct rigorous biology problems with verifiable answers, support thesis supervision and postgraduate coordination, and mentor biomedical research. I also maintain a strong publication record and confidence in scientific writing, fact-checking, and literature synthesis to support high-quality AI evaluation.
