What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a data quality or scientific data analysis role where I can apply my microbiology, genomics, database, statistical analysis, and structured data-management experience to support organizational objectives.

I've supported pathogen detection and genomic characterization at the Food and Development Research Center A.C., focusing on Vibrio parahaemolyticus and virulence-associated genes relevant to human health and aquaculture.

During my PhD studies, I developed and automated genomic analysis workflows in Python, R, Bash, and Conda for assembly, annotation, comparative genomics, phylogenomics, and large-scale sequence analysis. I standardized PCR-based molecular methods and improved data-processing efficiency through optimized workflows.

My earlier work spans pharmaceutical quality control at BioCubaFarma and Genetics Laboratories, plus biotechnology production at Scantibodies Laboratories. I've performed microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, water analysis, cell culture, monoclonal antibody production, HPLC purification, tangential flow filtration, SOP development, and GMP/GLP quality activities.

I'm also an active scientific communicator, with experience presenting research at national and international events, contributing to scientific publications, and supporting science outreach activities for children.
