At Edmonds Historical Museum, I manage and preserve digital and physical archival collections using established conservation and cataloging standards. I’m developing standardized metadata and classification practices and supporting community-driven work to identify and repatriate Indigenous artifacts.
For the Seattle Men’s Chorus Archival Project, I created a sustainable workflow, preservation strategy, and ingest rubric for archival materials. Using the new strategy, I cataloged more than 3,500 items.
I also contributed to a video game metadata schema at University of Washington and analyzed FBI and election datasets using R for “Crime and Punishment: How Does Your County Fare?” My library and information science work includes digital preservation, metadata design, community archives, and organizing collections for research and public access.
