What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an archival and digitization-focused role where I can improve access through accurate transcription, provenance research, metadata enrichment, and preservation-minded collection documentation—while contributing to audience-centered exhibitions and public-facing programming.

I’m an early-career archivist committed to expanding public access to primary-source materials through careful transcription, accurate indexing, and strong metadata practices. In my current role, I transcribe and index handwritten historical pension records while verifying names, dates, and contextual accuracy to improve searchability and usability.

Alongside archival work, I build digital collections with preservation-minded documentation. As a Cataloging Assistant, I cataloged and digitized the John Frederick Lewis Collection, researched provenance and dates, and handled fragile photographic prints and illustrated materials using preservation protocols to maintain consistency across digital collection management systems.

I also deepen my work through exhibition-focused experience and communication. My internship and capstone collaboration supported digitization and archival documentation for exhibitions grounded in material culture and visual storytelling, while my writing experience has strengthened my ability to research, interview, edit, and publish across digital and print platforms.
