What I'm looking for
I am currently pursuing a part-time Associate Degree in Management in Information Systems at the Excelsior Community College which will certainly improve my knowledge and skills. Having completed my secondary education at Donald Quarrie High School, I do have comprehensive knowledge and experience in computer technology, including software programming, the Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software. These will prove invaluable to operating efficiently within your highly technological environment.
My studies in Building Technology, Information Technology, English A, English B and Mathematics also contributes to my versatility and efficiency as an employee. In addition to my academic studies, I have gained knowledge/description/experience of a New Business Clerk and Imaging Clerk and base knowledge of a Bank Teller.One of my responsibility as a New Business Clerk is to view/process/onboard new clients, where I would check for source of funds, source of wealth and other KYC procedure.
During my tenure at SJLIC (Scotia Jamaica Life Insurance) I was introduced to a number of systems which include Ingenium, Nas, Kofax, Radar (On-Demand) and Pend Tracking. I was given a sound knowledge of how these system works and how to manipulate them as well. I am accepted and respected by all members of staff with whom I interacted and this will translate into my new encounters in a new position. I am also competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point and Lotus Notes.
I’ve also garnered a vast amount of experience in the Customer Service field as well where I’ve spent one (1) year and four (4) months and as a Customer Support Ambassador at Sutherland Global Services on the Airbnb Program in Kingston. During this tenure I transitioned from Community Education Specialist to Direct Supper Host Support Specialist. Over those three roles, I was responsible to answer inbound calls, respond to inbound messages and emails from customers. I was responsible to process refunds, assist customer booking on Airbnb, signing up for an Airbnb Account as a guest or host.
