At Miami-Dade County Public Schools, I serve as Chief Communications Officer and the Superintendent’s chief communications advisor. I guide communications strategy across media relations, marketing, public information, and digital communications.
As Administrative Director, Public Relations, I led the informational campaign for the countywide education referendum. I also led media coordination that included 491 radio interviews and 131 TV interviews in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
As Media Relations Director, I developed a student-focused media campaign with 348 content pieces during the 2019–2020 school year. Earlier, as Public Information Officer for the Village of Palmetto Bay, I helped increase email campaigns and social media presence by 50%.
My work spans public-sector communications, media relations, and community outreach. I hold a Master of Public Administration from Florida International University and am fluent in Spanish.
