At loanDepot, I manage valid and invalid fee and lock changes across mortgage loans, including pricing, program changes, re-locks, lock extensions, and title and settlement fees. I work closely with loan officers, closers, and processors to help ensure borrowers receive accurate loan estimates and disclosures.
Previously, as a Closing Assistant at loanDepot, I documented title requirements, verified title companies, streamlined wiring-instruction verification with Treasury, and supported roughly 250 files per day in Empower LOS. Across nine years in mortgage lending, I’ve also worked with credit reports and Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter underwriting system.
