What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and offers opportunities for impactful cancer research.

I am a dedicated PhD Research Scientist with a focus on oncology, currently working at the CRUK Scotland Institute. My research centers on the mechanical contributions of intestinal tumors to angiogenesis, where I lead a project that integrates advanced imaging techniques and computational analysis. With over four years of experience in confocal microscopy and computational image analysis, I have developed robust pipelines to quantify cellular parameters, enhancing our understanding of cancer biology.

Throughout my academic journey, I have contributed to significant research projects, including the impact of respiratory viruses on breast to lung metastasis. My work has been recognized through multiple awards, including the JP Career Award Winner 2025 and various poster prizes at international conferences. I am passionate about mentoring and have guided MSc and BSc students, fostering the next generation of scientists.
