What I'm looking for

I’m seeking a teaching and research position at an esteemed organization where I can apply my experience in cancer, inflammation, and metabolic research, and use the supervision and demonstration experience I’ve gained throughout my research and academic career.

At Ulster University, I synthesize and purify small molecules, test therapeutic compounds for anticancer properties in vitro and in vivo, and investigate their mechanisms of action. My research has also included glaucoma, inflammation, and nanoparticle-based approaches to cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

Alongside research, I’ve taught practical classes and tutorials, demonstrated animal handling and drug dosing, and mentored undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students. I’ve also supervised a PhD research student and worked on disease-marker assays at Randox.
