HR professional with over six years' experience in People Operations across legal tech, retail, financial services, higher education and the charity sector. Most recently I ran the People function at Intelligent Legal Solutions, where I set up the HR policies, systems and processes from scratch for 20 employees and 55+ contractors across Europe, Asia and the US. I'm at my best improving how HR works day to day, finding out why the same problems keep coming up and fixing the process behind them, often through better use of the HRIS and automation.

HR Generalist

Ran the People function for a legal tech company (20 employees, 55+ contractors), building HR from scratch. Wrote the policies, handbook and SOPs, and automated PeopleForce workflows, saving around 6 hours of admin a month. Advised founders on performance and probation, handled terminations and settlement agreements, payroll inputs, benefits, right-to-work and CEST checks, and hired 10 roles.
People Operations for 300+ employees in the UK and the Netherlands. First point of contact for around 50 HR queries a week and introduced Freshservice ticketing. Prepared and checked monthly payroll for 250+ employees, including P60s and P11Ds. Built sick pay, parental leave and annual leave calculators with Claude and Google Apps Script, cutting manual errors by around 70%.
HR operations for a global humanitarian network: UK staff in IRIS Cascade and international staff in Africa, Asia and Europe through Oyster HR. Advised managers on absence, performance and probation, helped run performance reviews, and supported employee relations cases and a 70+ person TUPE transfer. Hired 20 roles and built recruitment, training and benefits workflows and manager dashboards.

Worked on a global HR outsourcing transition between Capita and Accenture at the global investment bank. Handled GDPR and data subject access requests, and ran global referencing checks using Workday and SAP.
