Operations leader and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer improving student attendance through strategic operations and data-driven outreach.
What I'm looking for
I’m an Administrative Operations Manager and Returned Peace Corps Volunteer with 9+ years leading cross-sector programs and supervising teams in education and public health. I build the operational systems that let people do their best work—front office, compliance, safety, and service delivery—while keeping outcomes front and center.
At Valor Collegiate Academies, I led operations for 530 students and 50 staff, directing student records, facilities, safety, technology, and family engagement. Using data analysis and targeted outreach, I increased average attendance by 1.9 points and cut chronic absenteeism by 2.6 points, while driving year-over-year net student growth through enrollment and truancy interventions.
I manage budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to support long-range planning, and I develop policies and procedures that improve program development and organizational management across multiple functions. I also oversee EdTech systems and device inventory—handling tools like Infinite Campus for student information management and GoGuardian for monitoring and troubleshooting—so operations stay reliable and compliant.
Before stepping into education operations leadership, I worked as an Environmental Health Specialist and supported public health response efforts, advising businesses on COVID-19 guidelines and using ArcGIS to inform targeted interventions. I’ve also served in youth development and case management roles, including supervising 75+ youth members and coordinating health link services—experience that shapes how I communicate, coach teams, and support stakeholders.
