What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue improving children’s lives through empathetic, evidence-based behaviour, safeguarding, and emotional wellbeing support, while growing professionally in child psychology.

I currently lead relational behaviour support as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Anti-Bullying Officer, helping students with complex behavioural, emotional, and safeguarding needs. I use trauma-informed and restorative practices to de-escalate high-risk situations, deliver targeted interventions, and build trusting relationships that support positive change.

In my school-based roles at Sir Thomas Boughey Academy, The Coppice Academy, Portland School, and Walton Hall Academy, I’ve supported students with special educational needs, autism, ADHD, attendance challenges, and social, emotional and mental health needs. I’ve developed individualised support plans, contributed to IEPs, maintained CPOMS and Arbor records, and used intervention data to inform support strategies.

My Psychology with Counselling Science degree and master’s degree in Applied Child Relational Psychology have strengthened my focus on children’s behaviour, cognition, and social interactions. I’m committed to treating mental health as seriously as physical wellbeing and approaching every child with empathy.

Volunteering with Caudwell Children deepened my understanding of supporting families of children with autism and disabilities through information, referrals, and family support groups. I continue to develop my practice through safeguarding, mental health, online safety, child exploitation, and trauma-informed training.
