I’m MA-qualified Social Worker trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, with over 7 years of experience supporting the emotional wellbeing and safeguarding of children and adolescents. My work is grounded in trauma-informed practice and attachment-informed approaches.
Across roles including Student Wellbeing Practitioner / Social Worker, Children’s Social Worker, and placements in looked-after children teams, I deliver one-to-one emotional support for young people experiencing trauma, anxiety, behavioural and family challenges. I focus on building therapeutic relationships that help strengthen resilience, emotional regulation, and engagement in education.
I partner closely with teachers, carers, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to promote safety, stability, and development. I conduct assessments, develop tailored wellbeing and support strategies, and facilitate multi-professional meetings to inform planning that prioritises children’s needs.
I’m passionate about fostering safe, inclusive learning environments where students can thrive emotionally and academically. I also continue to develop my practice through training including Child Sexual Exploitation, Education for Children Looked After (PEP), Life Story Work, Decision Making & Analysis, and young women/girls, gangs and County Lines.
