What I'm looking for
I am currently a Strategic Leader in SEND and Inclusion and School improvement advisor for SEMH schools.
I am a SENCo and safeguarding-focused education professional, currently working as “SENCo, DDSL, DT and Referrals strategic lead” at Horizon Care and Education Group (April 2024 to present). I’m studying my NPQH with Best Practice Network, and my day-to-day work centres on strengthening SEND support, ensuring robust safeguarding, and improving outcomes for learners through clear systems and leadership.
Previously, I led curriculum and quality work at Stepping Stones School as “Quality of Education Lead” and “Teacher in Charge,” overseeing curriculum coverage, assessment progression across key stages, lesson walks/visits and deep dives, and training for teams. I’ve delivered phonics and reading programmes (including RWI Inc.), led KS1/KS2 curriculum planning and moderation, supported referrals and multi-agency meetings (PEP meetings and EHCP reviews), and liaised with professionals including an ED Psychologist to develop students’ legal and cognitively-informed support.
