I’m an off-page SEO and GEO strategist for B2B SaaS. Six years in, five of them agency-side, where I worked up to team lead on 10 to 12 client accounts.

In my last role I owned off-page SEO for two B2B SaaS brands. When AI search took off, nobody at the company could say which pages AI engines cite, or whether our links changed that. So I built the AI citation program from scratch, with 213 tracked prompts, a database of about 240 thousand citations from three trackers, and a before-and-after test on our own links.

The test showed that two-thirds of our recent links, 164 of 246, sat on pages with no recorded AI citations. So I rewrote the targeting around citation data. I also gave readers, rankings and AI citations their own KPIs, and pulled the link set into our attribution data to see readers and influenced deals next to the citations.

I ran all of it, including a paid program under a five-figure monthly cap, with 10 scheduled AI agents and 6 live dashboards I set up. Every send still went out by hand. And in one audit of a profile with about 19 thousand backlinks, I found a fake-testimonial spam network on roughly 900 referring domains, then disavowed what I could evidence.
