Isha Mehta

I’m an M.Sc. Biotechnology graduate with research experience in metabolomics and bioinformatics, building LC-MS metabolite profiling and omics data analysis pipelines. I focus on turning complex biological datasets into clear biological insights.

In my Bioinformatics & Metabolomics Research Intern role, I performed LC-MS data preprocessing, metabolite annotation, and statistical comparisons between euploid and aneuploid embryos using spent culture media. I also ran pathway enrichment using KEGG and UniProt, identified potential metabolic biomarkers, and built data visualization workflows with Python.

I bring computational and NGS experience, including FastQC and exploring sequencing workflows, plus a Linux-based NGS variant calling pipeline using BWA, SAMtools, and BCFtools. I’m interested in applying bioinformatics and machine learning to large-scale biological datasets for translational diagnostics.
