Yatin Kumar

I'm a biotechnology postgraduate working on bioinformatics and computational analysis of biological datasets, with a focus on RNA-Seq interpretation, pathway enrichment, and scientific visualization.

At Biosyntiya Solutions, I supported genomics and transcriptomics projects by analyzing RNA-Seq data, performing GO and KEGG pathway studies, and maintaining structured metadata for reproducible reporting. I also collaborated across scientific and business teams as a Junior Bioinformatics Associate and Scientific Business Development Intern.

In my acute myocardial infarction RNA-Seq project, I built a reproducible DESeq2 workflow in R using GSE172270, from preprocessing and normalization through differential expression, GSEA, and biological interpretation. I created PCA plots, volcano plots, heatmaps, enrichment plots, and other outputs to investigate immune activation, inflammatory signaling, and tissue remodeling.

I've also completed recombinant His-tagged protein expression, purification, quantification, experimental documentation, and laboratory workflow support during my research internship at SciGenom Labs.
