Provided IT support for scoring teams at European Golf Tour events, designing and maintaining WiFi scoring networks and supporting scoring terminals, journalist access and user hardware/software issues.

Provided networking, IPTV, LED and video engineering on major events (British Open, Olympics, Ryder Cup, COP28, LIV/DP World/Aramco tours), delivering reliable live feeds and onsite technical support.

I have worked for CT in the UAE and Saudi Arabia since 2019 on numerous contract roles primarily on Golf events but also corporate events such as COP28.

Operated the Victoria Pub (Apr 2004–Jan 2010), managed day-to-day operations, hired and supervised 15 staff, handled stock ordering and local promotion to grow patronage.

Provided desktop support and contributed to cabling and relocation for P&G offices around Newcastle, and developed and delivered induction training for relocated staff.

Provided software and hardware support across multiple council offices, delivering 1st/2nd line support and resolving a wide range of IT issues for staff.

Delivered 2nd/3rd line IT support across five London offices, handling desktop software/hardware, server maintenance and networking issues to maintain business continuity.

Managed IT operations for a training company (1996–1998), overseeing a team of 10 trainers, coordinating schedules, supporting sales efforts and producing software and trainer manuals.

Delivered IT training (1988–1996) on networking, spreadsheets, word processors and databases to clients across the UK, improving user proficiency and software adoption.

Attended a 2-day ROE LED training course covering LED cabling and connecting, processors and control software, and LED mapping.

Graduated with a degree in Business Information Technology from Teesside University in 1988.
