What I'm looking for
I’m a Senior IT Infrastructure and Support Engineer with 20+ years’ experience supporting aerospace manufacturing, healthcare, legal, and multinational technology environments. I’ve led IT on-site independently, delivered SOX compliance reporting, and supported strict NHS data security and IG protocols.
My strengths are end-to-end infrastructure and enterprise application support across VMware, Active Directory, and Azure/AWS—backed by strong remote and multi-site teamwork. I’ve managed high-pressure environments with near-zero downtime for critical clinical systems, and consistently resolved complex infrastructure, hardware, and application incidents.
Recently, I returned to the UK after working abroad and I’m now seeking short-term IT contract placements (3–6 months), immediately available UK-wide or remote. I stay current by building and deploying new capabilities like local LLM tooling (Ollama), RAG pipelines, and Docker workflows, while continuing to strengthen my service management and support practice.
