Hirpha Batu Abebe

I’m a linguistics and communication graduate from Ethiopia, excited about the opportunity mentioned by Twine. My background centers on “translation, transcription, data analysis, research work, and data gathering,” and I focus on accuracy, clarity, and well-organized information.

I completed my BA in English Language and Literature from Ambo University and later earned my MA in Applied Linguistics and Communication from University of Gondar (specialization). During my studies, I strengthened my language proficiency and research capabilities through courses in Translation and Interpretation, Research Methods and Report Writing, Editing and Advanced Writing Skills, Intercultural Communication, and Multilingualism and Language Planning.

I bring practical strengths that help me perform well in challenging environments: problem-solving, learning from mistakes, meeting deadlines through effective planning, generating innovative ideas, excellent work ethic, and strong career motivation. I’m especially interested in roles that combine language competence and analytical skills, including transcription, research assistance (literature review support and evidence-based writing), data gathering and organization, and data analysis (cleaning and summarizing findings) to support reliable conclusions.
